Interim Directors and Managers

From amongst its large pool of consultants, First Class Partnerships has a number who are fully qualified to fulfil the role of company director or manager. As the UK Government's Operator of Last Resort we are obliged to provide suitably qualified people across a range of key functions in train operating companies including Managing Director, Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Finance and Safety. Additionally we have provided interim managers to a variety of train companies in suburban and metro operating environments including the former Thameslink company (now First Capital Connect), “One Railway”, Northern Rail and Crossrail. When the South Eastern Trains Company was established following the termination of the Connex franchise, two of our Directors were appointed as Non Executive Directors to the new Boards set up to regulate the new company's operations.

We have also provided interim managers in a range of commercial disciplines in public bodies including Transport for London and the former Strategic Rail Authority. When working to support companies involved in franchise bids and mobilisation we have provided interim managers in all disciplines including programme and project managers to run the bids.
