Lisa Mota Pinto – BSc, MBA

Lisa joined FCP in 2006, after 6 years working with Serco, the operator of DLR – London's Docklands Light Rail. She joined FCP to support its commercial work, especially in the fields of demand forecasting and modelling, market and business planning. She has worked extensively on supporting franchise bids and in evaluating revenue forecasts in respect of new station projects.

Lisa comes from a European academic background with a BSc Honours degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the Universidade Portucalense. Lisa is a highly regarded Railway Commercial Advisor, having management experience in the public transport sector since the year 2000. While working with Serco Lisa had full responsibility for the management of a £30m revenue contract on the Docklands Light Railway. She had primary accountability for the passenger revenue forecast, evaluating its impact on the business, putting in place controls and other business measures through the development of Balance Scored Cards Methodology, KPIs and Benchmarking processes.

Lisa is a Strategic Planner and has a proven track record in converting commercial strategy into planned actions. Her strong interpersonal and communication skills have been key determinants in her successes to date. On the operating railway, Lisa has built a reputation in and aptitude for business planning and risk assessment to predict and counter emerging issues that might have an adverse impact in the business ensuring success on delivery. Lisa exhibits a strongly focused mind and an ability to relate both business and technical language within the rail industry environment.

Lisa comes from Portugal and works fluently in three European languages. She has completed her MBA at the Henley Management College.
