Mentoring, Training and Facilitating

The accumulated managerial and professional experience of our directors and consultants is available to the Boards and managements of any organisation or company. Several have used First Class Partnerships for the purposes of mentoring and training individual managers and directors on a one-to-one basis, or simply facilitating top management teams in determining company strategies or sometimes to improve organisation and relationships. We also have capabilities in education for rail operations practitioners, having undertaken training courses in train planning for the Institution of Railway Operators, assisted with the IRO degree and diploma courses, and run a programme of workshops for Traffic Managers on behalf of ATOC and RSSB.

FCP facilitated Board level consideration of strategy for the former Strategic Rail Authority and has done the same for a number of transport groups in the UK and other countries of the European Union. We have also provided mentoring and training including presentations for individuals or groups from several companies and organisations in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Denmark, France, Portugal, Sweden and the USA.

In addition First Class Partnerships has run workshops with a view to seeking industry consensus on topics of immediate concern to the rail sector.
